Mental Health

Louise Bowdtich

Hi, I’m Louise, a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Nature Connection Guide. My journey began with healing my own anxiety, low mood, and childhood trauma, leading me to train with Raw Horizons in 2018 and as a hypnotherapist in 2020.

My mission is helping others reconnect with their authentic selves, process unresolved emotions, and find natural balance. I believe healing happens when we remember who we truly are beneath life’s layers.

I blend evidence-based therapeutic techniques with nature-based practices, guiding people ‘home’ to themselves. My work isn’t just about overcoming obstacles; it’s about discovering a grounded, more peaceful version of yourself.

Working online or in person from my camper van Bertha, I support entrepreneurs and individuals stuck by emotional blocks. Through connecting to our true nature through nature and hypnotherapy, we release old patterns, rediscover our inner rhythm and resources, and create space for lasting transformation in all areas of life.

Mental health has always been of interest, due to my own experiences of anxiety and depression, grieving and low self-esteem. To enable my transformation, I had to learn how to face, and overcome, these specific struggles.

The introduction of a daily mix of physical exercise (walks in nature are my favourite!), social interactivity, mindfulness, and gratitude were catalysts for my new-found happiness. I realised a powerful desire to help others reach their ‘happy place’.

Since qualifying as a Wellbeing Coach, I’m now helping customers across the UK and Spain to overcome their unique struggles and maximise their health and happiness – encouraging them to also put wellbeing at the heart of everything they do.

I’m so happy to have reached this point and have a work role that gives me true meaning and purpose – at last!”

Having worked with young people for over 30 years as a teacher and Curriculum Leader, I have seen first-hand how life has gradually changed for them.

I am passionate about empowering young people to create positive changes in their lives. Once they develop this ability, it becomes a lifelong strength, shaping them into confident, well-rounded individuals.

I Help To:

  • Develop self-esteem
  • Bolster self-confidence and foster a positive self-image
  • Be less worried and anxious while developing a positive mindset
  • Learn various techniques and strategies to manage challenges and stress

In addition to working with young people on a 1:1 basis, I also collaborate with families to set boundaries and create practical solutions. My mission is to help young people build resilience, confidence, and emotional intelligence, so they can navigate life’s challenges with a strong and positive mindset.

At The Hut, I bring creativity and purpose to the lives of adults on mental health journeys and those with learning disabilities, whether long or short-term. What makes my service different is that members leave their disabilities at the door and step in with their abilities.

Following my coach training, I designed a coaching program that empowers my members to grow and stay motivated. I made it adaptable and easy to follow, ensuring it builds trust and supports a holistic approach to learning and development.

Why do I do what I do?

It’s simple—I want to make a difference. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to grow, make choices, and have meaningful discussions that create a positive impact on their lives and those around them. Helping people build a future they can be proud of brings me happiness and fulfilment in my role as a Coach and Service Manager.

Hi, I’m Simon. My approach to supporting people to improve their development encompasses establishing what their ‘needs’ and ‘wants’ are, so I can then design tailored learning solutions with them to maximise the impact of our collaboration.

It is vital to align any delivery to their attitudes and beliefs first and then add value by helping them to recognise the benefits of transforming their existing knowledge and understanding to a new frame of reference.

These connections should be driven by the person, and my role is to support and guide them through the process of change. Supporting people through their change is a privilege that I am grateful for every day.
